I’m not sure it’s "offensive" for one to argue that race is the primary reason why Oprah Winfrey supports Barack Obama (although I understand the argument made by some liberal bloggers that, if Oprah were white and had endorsed a white candidate, there would be no controversy). If Oprah is indeed endorsing Obama due to "identity politics", criticizing her decision is not necessarily racist.
