RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
August 28, 2006
It’s time to get angry.
Angry at those who are rubbing their hands together at the thought of another pro-tax Democrat seizing control of the Massachusetts governorship.
Angry at those who think our judges should be more lenient, our criminals should be more coddled, our laws should be more loosely enforced.
Angry at those who conveniently ignore the role that the nine-tenths Democratic legislature plays in the prevention of economic, educational and legal reform.
Angry at the far-left activists and bloggers who love to accuse Republicans of failure but who have no recipe for success.
Angry at those who, while supporting undisputable elitists, have the nerve to accuse Republicans of aloofness.
It’s time to get angry.
For if we are not angry, we’ll be complacent–and the far-left needs our complacency in order to win.
For if we are not angry, we’ll be apathetic–and the far-left is counting on our apathy in order to reclaim power.
For if we are not angry, we’ll be forgetful–and the far-left requires that people forget the damage Michael Dukakis inflicted upon this state twenty years ago in order to get Dukakis’ Democratic successor elected.
It’s time to get angry.
Angry at the elitism that emanates from the very pores of all three Democratic gubernatorial contenders.
Angry at their willingness to ignore our laws to appease special interests.
Angry at their hubris, their insistence that they know more than the common man, their conviction that their alleged wisdom is superior to common sense.
It’s time to get angry…to get motivated…to get prepared…to get behind Kerry Healey.
